Pictures of the Clinton Tornado Devastation and Relief Effort.

I have a lot of friends in Clinton Arkansas, so when the area was struck by a tornado I volunteered at the Disaster Recovery Center to help.  During on of my lunch breaks, my buddy Larry Meeks took me out for a ride, and I took some pictures of the destructive power of a tornado.  My last series of pictures, is from inside the Clinton DRC.

The boat factory that was destroyed.

Look at the tow bar of this trailer...

Trip down a local road - People were burning all the downed trees and tree limbs.

This was the metal from someone's shed (I think) wrapped around a tree...

Trees were down everywhere.  I took these pictures on memory Lane in Clinton Arkansas.

Rescue effort at a local abandoned warehouse.  Everybody and everything was there.  Food, clothing, volunteers.  The whole community turned out and churches from all over the country sent workers up here.

Churches set up beds to give people a warm, dry place to sleep.

Food distribution area. - People came from all over to help...

In two days, this warehouse was nearly full with food, clothing, shoes, diapers, toilet paper, paper towels, batteries, Flashlights...  You name it, it was there..
